In line with our Firm’s Core Values and the role of “Lawyer as Leader”, Criscione Ravala, L.L.P. is committed to investing time, energy, and resources to philanthropic causes and cases that align with our Firm’s mission, vision, and legal expertise.
Community & Public Service
Our attorneys and staff engage in public service and pro bono legal work, volunteer hundreds of hours in the community, serve on Boards of local, national, and international non-profits, and offer special rates to non-profits, military veterans and spouses, students, and senior citizens.
Access to Justice & Access to Education
To cultivate legal education and promote greater representation of underrepresented minority groups in the legal profession, our Firm created the Legal Education Access Program (L.E.A.P.). L.E.A.P. pioneers to provide students across the United States with scholarship and mentorship opportunities to promote and foster diversity and inclusion in the legal field.
Environmental Sustainability & Waste Reduction
We acknowledge a responsibility to the environment and care about our carbon footprint. Our Firm operates from LEED and EnergyStar certified buildings and is committed to implementing practices that promote ecological sustainability, conserve resources, and reduces waste.
Philanthropy & Giving Back
We encourage our attorneys, staff, clients, vendors, and even our opposing counsel to engage in philanthropic activities that strengthen our communities. We’ve selected three non-profit organizations and request you to make a tax-deductible contribution to them today.
Scholarship America
Scholarship America works directly with students, parents, colleges, businesses, communities, corporations, foundations and individuals to help students fulfill their college dreams. Since it was founded in 1958, Scholarship America has distributed $4.3 billion to more than 2.6 million students … and counting. As the largest student support organization in the United States, they have one passion, every student.
New York Bar Foundation
The New York Bar Foundation is a charitable and philanthropic entity of the New York State Bar Association. Founded in 1950, The Foundation is dedicated to aiding educational, direct legal services, and charitable projects aimed at meeting the law-related needs of the public and the profession. The Foundation makes grants to financially support law-related programs of legal services organizations, nonprofits, bar associations and other organizations throughout New York State, including the annual Lawyers Love Veterans Challenge in support of our veterans.
